Come and help shape the Ageing Better in Camden partnership. This is an open group for anyone living in Camden who is over 60.
The Ageing Better in Camden’s Older People’s Advisory Group (OPAG) meet every month (online and via phone) to assist the Ageing Better in Camden partnership and provide a voice for older people in Camden. Meetings are open to all older people in the borough.
Every month we have interesting topics relating to older people and you will have the opportunity to ask questions and participate in discussions about these topics.
You can find out the dates of the next meeting(s) by going to our events calendar.
If you would like to join our meeting – please call Ageing Better in Camden Team on 020 7239 0400 or email [email protected] to book your place.
We at Ageing Better in Camden get sent many invitations for older people to have their say in local consultations or focus groups.
We have a mailing list of older people who belong to VoCuS - Voices of older Camden Seniors. They take part in many of the consultations or focus groups happening in Camden, this requires very little commitment, other than maybe two hours of your time. There are lots of interesting opportunities but there is no obligation to take part in all of them. We will simply add your name to a mailing list and you can choose the opportunities that you would like to get involved in.
VoCuS members responded to the Local Government Association Green Paper on the future of Adult Social Care as part of an Ageing Better in Camden focus group. Find out more here.
