All Camden residents aged over 60 are very welcome!

The Ageing Better in Camden Older People’s Advisory Group (OPAG) met every month to help shape the Ageing Better in Camden partnership and provide a voice for older people in Camden. This was an open group for anyone living in Camden aged over 60. Meetings took place every month, usually with an interesting topic for discussion relating to older people. 

OPAG is a vibrant group who want to continue beyond Ageing Better, so therefore all future meetings will be hosted by Age UK Camden.

Along with OPAG meetings we strived to enable people to have a say on issues effecting older people

Ageing Better in Camden received many invitations for older people to have their say in local consultations or focus groups. This lead to creating a mailing list of older people who became ‘VoCuS’ - voices of older Camden Seniors. They took part in many consultations and focus groups happening in Camden which provided lots of interesting opportunities.
