You are invited to Ageing Better in Camden’s latest learning seminar launching our new research report: "What makes groups welcoming for older people and why does it matter?"
Our Learning and Quality Officer, Amanda Mainey, will be presenting evidence collected from older people in Camden on how community groups can be made as welcoming as possible, and what difference this makes. The report explores the concept of a ‘warm welcome’, the impact it can have on an older person and offers advice from older people themselves on how providers can make groups as friendly and open as possible.
The session will also include a Q&A panel discussion with report author, Amanda Mainey and Programme Managers, Corinna Hyman and Annabel Collins.
